I recently read on article that stated this :
"An entire generation now looks to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert as their primary source of news and information. "
I found this to be the saddest thing I have ever read. I don't hate either show i fund them funny but where is this generation going ? I'm part of this generation and I don't find either show news worthy. They are comedies hosted by comedians ! Am I the only one who find this totally insane. While there is no credibility to this fact, it doesn't seem to absurd. Teenagers and young adults today are significantly less aware as previous generations. And thats not a bad thing. I am not promoting more awareness but don't claim to know all about the world's most serious matter as told to you by two comedians from Comedy Central. I would like to know if I am just really closed minded or just being realistic ? Can you really get more news from a TV comedian from the same channel that brings you shows like Comedy Central Roasts than a Newspaper or even your daily news ?
