Wow. This Forth of July was shit. Now, usually I will go back too the house and just hang out with family all day or something like this, but this year two friends talked me into going to Denver with them too go to the Rockies 4th of July Game. Bad Choice.
I wake up at 6, like planed, and got my stuff together too be ready too go by 7.30ish, I had the vehicle we where taking and I was all set. I was a few minute early, and made it too my friends Dorm building by 7.40ish, and I wait until 8. They still don't go out so I eventually go up to their room, and find out ones still getting ready, and the others passed out. After 10 minutes of me *helping* the sleeping one up, he finally gets set and ready. We leave at around 8.30. We do the 3 and a half our trip fine, and where starving. First order of business is to drop one off at the park and the other two go grab lunch and meet back at the lines. Well, I get dropped off. Come too find out the line was long. Really long. Friends make it back in thirty minutes because of the traffic and we just eat in line. After waiting for close too 2 hours in line, we are only six people from the front. Bam, a guy comes out and announces they have no more tickets.
We get pissed and walk away, and after searching through scalpers (Eh, we where desperate.) we could find no tickets we could afford. We start the trip back, and because of soon heavy storming on our trip back, it takes four or so hours too make it back. This was the biggest waste of time I've ever had!
