59.99? damn, how much are the nintendo ones? I don't have an hd tv but enough friends do that I want to buy a set. but $60 is a bit much.

I feel like such a fag ... i called circuit city and the front desk picked up and said "how may I direct your call" and I said "electronics please" and she goes

"the whole store is electronics"

$60 is a little high, good thing as that my tv is a piece of shit and doesn't accept components or even s-video

so, i get to sit and save up for the 32" westinghouse lcd when it sells for $600, then component cables will be easily found/nintendo will have them in stock
 
Excuse the ignorance but whats the difference in using these component cable or a couple pair of RCA jack wires? Arent they the same thing basically?
 
Component will allow for 480p hooked into an EDTV or HDTV. RCA (composite) cables which is what the Wii comes with only allows 480i regardless of the TV it's hooked into.
 
yep it's not a huge difference but if you have an hd tv its more than worth it. Somebody posted up a comparison with zelda a while back and it made me want to pick up a set.
