Thinking of going from curve to iphone

Still not sure but I am thinking of going with the iphone. I do love my curve but after looking at the video on the apple site about the 3.0 software upgrade it makes me want to jump to the iphone even more now. Did anyone make the jump here or will you when the 3.0 software comes out. I do have the the ipod touch and love that but would like it all in one. But I think I might miss my berry. The only good thing I am giving the Curve to my wife so If I do not like it I will give here the iphone and take back the curve. Not making the move until June if I do go with it.

I agree with bmay82. Iphone is mearly a toy for adults. Don't like that you can only run one app at a time. Stick with your ipod for your fun and games needs and with you trusty berry for your everyday needs. Of course that's just my opinion. It is your chose and I'm sure you will make the good chose. Good luck.

I would jump to the Bold, Storm or Niagra before the iPhone. As everyone else has stated the iPhone IS like a toy IMO... Tried one for 2 weeks, took it back. I'd go with a better Berry.

AT&T does have a 30 day return policy. If you don't like it return it before those 30 days are up. There's too much bias here to get an unbiased answer. I've been on both sides of the fence and have no regrets using an iPhone as my primary device. Use th 30 days to explore the possibilities. If you are not happy stick with the curve

I went out and got an iPhone from AT&T and had it exactly one day and returned it. While the iPhone is a slick phone and all the apps are neat, the current software just didn't have what I needed for it to be useful.

I use my phone, primarily as a phone while driving, and here are the biggest issues that I found.

No Voice Dialing -- there's an app, but it didn't really work too well. Voice dial should be standard on high end phone like this.No Speed dial - again, should be standard, and while there's a "favorites" you still need to scroll through the list to make a call. You have to go through too many steps to dial... you need to unlock the phone, pull up the keypad and then hope that you hit the numbers correctly since there's no feedback.E-Mail - unless you're on an imap account you can't save an e-mail from the inbox to a separate folder. IT has to live in your in box until you delete it.
The signal strength blew Tmobile away, and internet browsing was fast and easy, but overall, it just didn't cut it for me, the way that I use my phone.

Oh, and AT&T charges a 10% re-stocking fee for the Apple products, so just be aware of that if you do decide to try and return.

I moved from iPhone to Bold because push email is unparalleled with BB. Battery life on iPhone
Was also a concern.

It depends... I found I didn't utilize ALL of the iphone features, there fore making it like owning a Ferrari to drive
Around in suburbia.

Make sure you do your homework!
