Thinking of buying the new HTC EVO. Will it sync my outlook mail,calendar, and contacts?

I currently own a blackberry with sprint. I am able to sync my outlook via blackberry desktop software. I plug in with usb and sync from computer to phone and vice versa. I'm worried that with the new android system it won't be that easy. I've been reading a lot about different apps that help with syncing but none of them seem too concrete. I'm thinking of just waiting for the new iphone to come out which I hear is easy to sync with outlook via cloud, I think they call it. Anyways I just need a straightforward answer from someone who knows what their talking about. Thx
