...should I do? I want to join a local football camp this summer, but my girlfriend's dad, who loathes me, is coaching. Should I still join?
I believe it might give me a chance to show him how I'm a hard worker and team player, but I'm still having trouble deciding.

I would say don't let him get into your head. If you want to do the camp- then go for it! Don't let him intimidate you into not doing something you want for yourself.

Do football because you love it, not for anyone else. When you play he'll notice you are a hard worker and definitely a team player..When you do what you love, your natural talents will arise...Him being your girlfriends dad is just icing on the cake ( i prefer whip cream icing haha) hope this helps ya

yeah u should join don't let 1 person stop you. Maybe he'll grow to like you. Just don't break up with her or he'll probably kill you.
