...through ATT, you are? charged a $30/month data plan. Current phone is a samsung and if I want to get a data plan, it is $15/month. If I purchase an iphone or blackberry through ebay, can I get the $15/month data plan and skip the $30/month fee through ATT. I don't understand why the data plan is twice as much on those phones.?.
 
no, all smartphones on att are 30$ a month because with smartphones they can do sooo much more like skype and they have better browsers and are ussualy faster than those nonsmart phones so you pay more, all companies do this and i recomend blackberry 9700 or iphone 3g s
