Thinking about buying a 2003 Saturn vue or a 2005 Pontiac g5/Chevy Colbalt?

The Pontiac/ Chevy will be cheaper to run....

I have a 2005 Saturn like you describe, I get 24-25 around town, 30-31 on the highway
I like my Saturn, but if those are your choices.. I would buy the newer car....

mechanically they are all basically the same car....
 
Saturn Vue front wheel drive, 4 cylinder 2.2L 5 speed.

or a 2005 Pontiac Pursuit / Chevy Colbalt 2.2l 4 cylinder 5 speed

What is the real world mpg for both?
Which vechile would be better in:

A) Quietness
B) Reliability
C) Cheaper to run
