Things you'll never hear film critics say

The director couldn't have chosen a better actress for the lead in Mary Poppins the remake than Jordan. Her natural elegance and joi de vivre not to mention glorious yodelling voice is what really makes this film a magical experience.
 
No, merely highlighting the tendency of film critics to instantly bash the blockbuster movie and sing the praises of films that many of us would have to go miles out of the way to see.... :p

Not really very unlikely things to hear a reviewer say, probably said quite a bit.

Just because it shot in black and white, has little speech, though sometimes spoken in an ancient Swahili language, and has a run time of 4 and a half hours, it doesn't make the film overly pretentious that it was written and directed by someone from Dallas, Texas.
