Thick Rimmed Nerd Glasses For A Guy?

I've just noticed how much I love those new popular non-perscription "nerdy glasses". They're so awesome! I just thought about getting some, and just realized that I hadn't seen many guys wearing them, haha, so what do you think about guys wearing them? Is it a girl thing?

If its cool, where can I get a sweet pair?
 
You can get them at Hot Topic, Claire's, just about anywhere.
But you shouldn't wear them just because it's cool.
 
a lot of people at my school have them & they're all guys .. but i wouldn't get them if i were you though . to be honest , i think they look tacky & ridiculous . but do what you want :)?
 
ive seen guys wearing them yeah...usually the type of guy who wears skinny jeans (im not trying to imply anything here, btw, im just saying) and i think they look good on some guys but would look really stupid on others
 
oooo you should like go for that preppy look and you'll look smoking you can probably get them at a beauty supply or kmart
