Although I understand what the author is saying it annoys me that being a veteran he misses the point completely even though he says it near the beginning of his article.
When people use the term hero to describe our military servicemen and women they are nrabroad
saying that all of them have engaged in some grand feat that is usually associated with heroism. They are heroes because they sacrifice for us, they provide their lives to comfort and empower us, to make us feel safe and to make our place in the world better.
He says it right there but completely misses it and goes on to talk about war and how horrible it is and that it is nrabroad
heroic. Of course war isn't heroic, people are, for the reasons provided. I would like to thank our nations heroes, the military men and women who have willingly provided their lives and vowed to prrabroad
ect and comfort us all to make our world better.
