They're killing Never Mind The Buzzcocks

tbh they should start the series off by showing the missing brand ep.

never mind the buzzcocks has gone slowly downhill but i liked mark and simon as they had a mean streak.

also with guest hosts you never know what your gonna get and they dont a chance to build a rappor up with the team captains.

tate is ok but the show killing host from the list given is Tim Westwood, the guys a joke and makes me cringe.

i liked it :D

I only prefer Mark Lamarrs era more because of having Bill Bailey, even with Amstell you could tell he wasn't comfortable with the set-up as he seemed much more introvert. Those series between say 2001-2004 were priceless in my opinion. Mind you he gave Donny Tourette his dues during Amstells time.

NMTB seems to a show for people who hate music, or who are eaten up with resentment for successful musicians.

I know Lamarr is a fan, Noel Fielding is a fan, but their love of music didn't come across much of the time, it's just snide sniping like so much of what passes for comedy these days. I watch from time to time but haven't laughed at it for years.

NMTB is simply a comedy quiz with a music theme, it's not a serious music programme nor do I think it has anything whatsoever to say about music. There is nothing wrong with poking fun at people whether they are part of the plastic pop genre or are serious established stars and music is very often one of those things that people get incredibly snide about anyway so it's hardly surprising that comes out in the series.

Billio, you seem to think that legends should be immune from criticism or having the mickey taken out of them. I disagree, very often there's plenty of material there.
