They wouldn't put you in jail for not paying bills? They wouldn' t get anything

then, right? If you are in jail then you can't work to pay bills?, right?
NO, I am not talking of me, we are fine, all bills paid in my hse.
I know ones who need to pay bills off.
 
Not unless the person committed fraud. Then they could press charges.

If the loans are secured then they will loose the property that secures the loan, and will be responsible for the balances of the loans.
 
No they won't be put in jail - at least for most bills. What may happen is they get a judgement and garnish accounts or put liens on your property depending on the type of bill. It will hurt their credit score and they will get collectors calling. If it is a service such as electricity, shut off could occur.
 
Certain bills, yes, like court-ordered child support or restitution for a crime. Also taxes in certain cases. But ordinary bills like credit cards and car loans, no.
