These budget cuts to our military must stop!

Like I said, that's not logic.

OMG this one giant leak in our hull wouldn't completely stop our boat sinking so let's just leave it alone.

But no matter what, what benefit do we get from that waste? Versus say using American money to take care of Americans?

Don't deflect and don't say crap like this is the best thread because I agree with it. I never had a problem with you, don't be so just because we disagree on this doesn't mean you have to be a dick.

LOL.

It wasn't long ago that I was a Bush supporter and you love my graphs.

PS. This comes from the Economist, not me.

And yeah, nice logic. Any one thing wouldn't change everything so let's not do anything.

Why do people defend this spending?

It it because it's the only thing you have to show, and will soon have to show for your country?

Are you really that excited and behind your foreign wars? Iraq ten years bros, and when you leave it'll be the same, but you'll be poorer.

Osama Bin Laden bankrupted you guys but at least you got him!!111

Thats pretty much the gist of it all when it comes to ranges.
I use to do ammo distribution and it went a little bit like this.

Units will request a metric fuck ton of ammo for ranges that they will be on because they dont want to cut their training short. Normally they will grossly over estimate how much they will actually shoot. But if they dont shoot it all and turn live ammo back into us depending on how much live gets turned back in they will get their orders cut down alot since turning live ammo back in is a huge pita to do because it fucks up our nurabers.
The units realize this so they just shoot it all whether its for training or not so they dont get shorted in the future.
Same kind of thing happens with supply clerks. In my old unit they would get a credit card with a certain amount of money on it that they use to buy supplies. So pretty much if you dont spend it you lose it and the unit gets shorted the next fiscal year. And I got to be involved in this too but we went out and spent like $15000 in 2 days on supplies for our company. We had enough shit to fill up 2 large shipping containers. And by the time we were done with the deployment we had 1 container still full of supplies and shit. So since none of it was on the books alot of it got given away to people throughout the battalion for personal use. Im talking like office supplies and stuff.

"But no matter what, what benefit do we get from that waste? Versus say using American money to take care of Americans?"

I'm just LOLing @ you for another silly graph thread
