There's two schools of thought on this one.
One, you dress in a way to stand out, and guess what, they've noticed you. Does that mean all attention is good attention?
Two, people are judgemental assholes and the ones who stare like that will always find a reason to stare.
So all in all, let them stare, fuck it and drive on, and don't sweat the small stuff.

The first one was right but your second school was just stupid. First off we KNOW people are assholes and second it's just plain not the right school.
The real schools of thought are:
