I drive a 2001 Honda civic lx.. I went out to my car today only to notice that there was a huge piece of plastic hanging off of the bottom front end... I'm hoping that it's just an engine splash guard that got ripped off by a parking block. How can I tell? It's a big chunk of plastic that is just hanging and dragging from the front left side, and I'm afraid to drive it this way given the host of other problems I'm currently experiencing. If it is just a splash guard is there any way I can remove it without causing any additional damage? Can I cut around it?..(somehow...i don't know what would be suitable for something like this...) I don't want to just rip it out, and I'm sure Honda put the guard there for a reason... I just need to find a way to not have to shell out another couple of hundred bucks on repair work. (Not to mention... I just got the car and I've already had to spend nearly 1k on repairs... Used cars.. Sigh.) Please help!!!
