I have a Boston Terrier who is barely a year old. About 2 days ago I noticed a flat patch of skin that didnt have any hair on it on her rear leg. About an hour later it rose up to a large bump. I've been watching it carefully since then and it hasnt gotten any bigger since that night. She keeps licking it and its currently slightly red. I've been very aware of my dogs health since my last dog I had to put down about a week ago because she had cancer that started as a bump on her nose and spread to other places. I'm going to take her to the vet anyways but I was just wondering if this sounded cancerous because it doesn't look the same as the bump on my last dogs nose. Should I be worried?
Also no lack of appetite or lethargy she's as hyper as ever.
Also forgot to say that the bump is about half an inch across, almost the size of a quarter.
