there is a problem with the dome light in my 1998 Honda Civic?

The dome light will only work when i have the switch set to on..... when the switch is set to the setting inbetween on and off... it wont work. the lighht is supposed to turn on when i open my car door... Does anyone know what might be happening? its pissing me off... when i get into my car @ night and i cant c anything
and its not set to of
neither doors work
 
most likey the switch in the door not working right should see switch went you got door open you can push it with finger or foot might be bad or sticking
