Two days ago, i heard a cat screaming in my garden, i'm guessing due to being in labour? It gave birth to two newborn kittens.

We have been feeding the cat tuna, milk and water, so it's healthy enough to feed it's babies, however, today, the mother cat came to our garden and took one of the kittens away. It carried the kitten in it's mouth and took off about 3 hours ago.

So now we are left with one newborn kitten in our garden, it's so cute and it makes little baby noises. I know it's early days, but that kitten is in our garden all alone, is the mother going to come back for it?? I don't know what to do??

I haven't touched it, because i know that if i do, the mother will detect a human scent on the kitten and reject it, so shall i just leave the kitten out in the garden and wait for its mum to come and collect it? What if the mum doesn't come all day??

Please help!! Thanks in advance!
Sorry i said puppy.....i meant kitten sorry!!!

...Well, you could keep it. Or you could wait a day or so for the mother to come get it too. If she doesn't, you could bring it to the humane society, or the vet. Humane would be the best choice. A lot of times, the owners of the felines might not even know their cat had a litter.. Cats however are predators, even if you left it out, chances have it, if it can see, it'd be fine either way... ._. I wish my mom would let me have a kitten..
