...off. What could it be? On Monday the 15th I took my far in for a transmission flush and oil change and found out that the pulley side engine mount is broken. Mazda ordered the part which came in Thursday, but they can not get me in until Monday. So I have driven the car very little since then out of fear, even know the man at the dealership told me it would be fine to drive as long as I do not accelerate quickly or drive aggressively. Well tonight I had to go to the grocery store and when I came home and shut off the engine instead of hearing the fan for a couple of seconds as I normally do, I heard a humming noise that lasted for about one to two minutes. Never heard it before. Any ideas what this could be. The dash showed that the car was not overheating. But the noise is new to me. Could it be something they did while doing the trans flush or maybe something caused by the broken mount? It almost sounds like something is caught in the fan or the fan is stuck or something.
