The Jackson 5ive was a Rankin-Bass/Motown co-production, distributed through Worldvision in the late 70's. As for reissuing it now? Kind of difficult. There have been rumors of a J5 reunion tour, which would cost fans 2 arms, 2 legs, and an extra muscle or two if it hit my area.

That's the way they're raising ticket prices these days. They want no less than $30-$45 dollars for upper deck seats, for example, at Times-Union Center in Albany. Chris Rock is playing the Palace in Albany at the end of the year, and they want anywhere from $45-75 for tix. That is wrong, and the price gouging has to stop!
Back to the Jacksons. I think the family might have the rights to the series themselves, so it might be their call, not R/B, Entertainment Rights, or any other entity, to issue the DVD.
Oh, and Veemonjosh? If you thought the J5 sucked as toons, what about the Osmonds a year later (same studio & network)?
