Theism vs Atheism questions for a debate?

so i have a debate on tuesday and im on the atheist side going against theism.
im not sure what questions and arguments to ask the theists?!
can someone please help me on this!
 
I dont understand whats the point debating on who's right and wrong over a subject like this. It's like beating a dead horse with a stick. What's the prize to the winner?
