Yeah, I've got a lot going on this week. I'm not looking forward to it. :sigh:

I still haven't seen Sherlock Holmes yet. I want to.

 It looks awesome from the previews , and I think the director is Christopher Nolan who did The Dark Night so I'm sure it'll be amazing.

 Thanks Pia. I'm pretty sore today, but not so bad that I can't handle it.

I saw When in Rome, but wasn't a huge fan. I do like Kristin Bell though.

Sounds good! We can do it. :D

Of course I can't really think of anything to say now....

 I was actually recommending the Sookie Stackhouse books to a woman I work with who enjoyed Twilight and reads a lot of the more adult romance novels... I thought they would be a good fit for her.

I was working all weekend as well. I'm tired.

I guess I'll keep watching to find the plot that my friend claims is there.

We'll whip through this thread fast enough, so there won't be two threads with the same title for long.

 I think that's probably true of the Twilight series and Vampire Diaries etc... but the Sookie books are quite different with some pretty extreme sex and violence, definitely not for tween girls anyway

Hope you got some good rest Pia, although like you said sometimes it's nice when work is busy. I'm just going to stay in and relax today and will probably watch Sherlock Holmes on DVD later - I can't believe I haven't seen that one yet, seeing as I love Jude Law and RDJ!

Yeah, you're right. I've noticed that too. Especially in the young adult sections.

Ugh, I'm so tired. Work was so busy and hectic yesterday. It felt kind of good though, since it's been slow for so long.

It was with my union. We were protesting one of the hotel chains cutting benefits for its workers.

Carolyn, , I hope the pain goes away soon.

I just watched When In Rome. It was a little better than I thought it would be. Will Arnett is in it. And I swear Jason Sudeikis had a small part, but he wasn't listed in the credits, so I could be wrong.

Whats more depressing is how they seem to have taken over! I was at Superstore the other day, and more than half of the book section of the store was devoted to vampire novels.

 I'm with you Kate, I don't recall much of a plot either, cept the election.

I'm fine with the title, because the only other thing I can think of is BLERG!

Sounds good to me. :D

I can't wait to see Inception. :sigh: I banned myself from going to the movie theater this summer (too much time and $), but I'm going to make an exception for that one.

Nice Pia! You should frame it. ;)

Did everyone have a good weekend? We had nice weather for the first time in ages, so I spent most of the time outside. I also did a spectacular fall off my friends patio and will have some lovely bruises on my leg tomorrow morning.

OK.

It's weird how alike all these vampire series turn out to be. And I know the Sookie books, and the Vampire Diaries came out before Twilight.

 I work in a restaurant. So I'm usually working them. Maybe when I'm a civilian again, I'll enjoy them.
