The Wrath Of Khan - Is this the "Full - Full" Version?

Some years ago, I had a video of Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan, which on the cover carried the legend "The Full Version".

However, this afternoon, I turned on Channel 4 and found myself part way through a showing of the movie, which contained scenes I've never seen before.

How can the video I had be called the Full Version, if it didn't have the extra scenes I've just viewed?

Channel 4 were showing the 2002 DVD Director's Cut of Star Trek 2.
though some scenes were trimmed because of the time it was shown, as was the language.
a notable scene being the slug leaving Chekov's ear, before Kirk kills it.

The original release of ST2 was censored to gain a PG rating in the cinema and on video.

The "slug in the ear" scenes were slightly cut.

Some years later the shots of the slug creature entering and exiting Chekov's ear were fully reinstated for the retail release of the movie ,thats the FULL VERSION you had which was upped to a 15.

The 2002 directors cut had IIRC a couple of scenes added that featured Scotty's nephew and expanded the bond between them that was not really seen in the theatrical version, where it just mentioned that the boy was his nephew, and then he was brought in to sickbay dead.

The scenes I saw, which I had never seen before were:-

1. After the Regula science team hear the Reliant is on its way, and David asks were they are going, and Carol Marcus says "That's for us to know and Reliant to find out".

2. After Kirk, Spock and MCCoy have viewed the Genesis recording, an exchange between Spock and McCoy about whether Spock approves of the research.

3. After MiRABhipman Peter Preston dies and Scottie leaves sick bay almost in tears, Kirk tells spock that Khan wants revenge against him and doesn't care who gets in the way.
