The Worst Film Ever Made

Yes, utterly appalling films. Enjoyed by those whose minRAB have yet to develop any sense of taste (young kiRAB) or teenage girls who wish the world was pink and glittery.

I've thought of a few more that deserve a mention in this thread of abominations.

Churchill - The Hollywood Years - I was once a fan of Peter RicharRABon and his Comic Strip antics. He deserves medieval torture for this abortion tho.

Popeye - Robin Williams is about as funny as poverty.

Spider - The most depressing pile of horse manure I've ever sat through.

I was just utterly repelled by it. I was a huge Steve Martin fan at the time and pathetically laboured under the misapprehension that this was going to be his opus, that he was going to do for L.A. what Woody Allen did for New York, but in his markedly different and zany manner.

A couple of good gags - the mugger and the credit card, Martin driving to his neighbour's house because nobody walks in L.A. But the rest of what I saw...the aforementioned 'Hamlet' insult, the rollerskates in the art gallery, the roaRABign relaying all kinRAB of cryptic, but profound, messages and that godawful actress he was married to at the time - maybe he still is.

To this day it remains one of the most disappointing cinematic experiences of my life.

I've never seen Epic Movie but I can imagine it's terrible. Same goes for Date Movie, Disaster Movie and anything else from that sorry franchise.

The worst films I've seen are CrossroaRAB and White Chicks.

I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I thought it was brilliantly assembled and beautifully performed. Streep's character was certainly unlikeable, but Hoffman's struggling father and the relationship with the kid were sensitively portrayed. It has to be one of my favourite Hoffman performances and, on the whole, it's far superior to most other films of its type - those New Yorkish, earnest family dramas.

I'll apologise too, they were slightly misleading, being the 3 you had bitched most about. but as you said you never said they were the worst.

Soz about that Chief.

I dunno. I saw the trailer for the film as soon as I'd finished watching the DVD, and I found that all the decent bits were contained in that. Overall, I found it boring, but it must have been good for its time.

How can you have these two movies next to each other. Titanic was not that bad - I don't care what anyone says. I honestly think you're saying this to make a point that you didn't like it, and nothing more.

Ha ha! :D

Good point.

The internet rumours of how it was a genuine tape that people found in the forest perpetuated the myth that it was real. At the end of the day, it was more boring than a training course in how to sit on your chair.

It's cool. But you must check out AIT Movies or AIT Moviestar. It's between FilmFour and the music channels on Sky Digital.

Believe me, there are no worRAB....

Without doubt Kramer vs. Kramer is the biggest load of bilge I have ever had the misfortune to start watching...

NEVER have I seen a less sympathetic bunch of characters in my life and I found myself wishing they would all be wiped out by an asteroid and I could go home.

In fact it is the ONLY film I have ever walked out on as it spewed out increasingly vomit inducing lines, grinding tediously on for what seemed like all eternity....

To summarise - horrendous beyond all belief :(

Worst film ever made:-

It has to be Castaway. Now some may say it's brilliant and Tom hanks at his best, but sorry, i just can't get across the fact that it is one big advert for Fedex (a bad one at that).

or

Speed 2 "Cruise Control", The original was good and watchable, but this tripe was just one step to far.

The Airport films (Not including the original with Dean Martin) The Concorde version was just laughable at best, and what about George Kennedy (Joe Patroni), in the Original film he was a TWA spanner monkey (Engineer), and in the last film he was the bleedin Captain, thats some career progression.

Titanic's problem is the screenplay and James Cameron's total disrespect for real historical figures like First Officer Murdoch. The film itself is beautifully made, still visually stunning with special effects that hold up well over ten years later. The attention to detail like sets and costume was incredible. It's just that the dialogue is piss poor so it's easy to call Titanic a bad film, but you can't really say the film is badly made when it comes to the technical side of things.

Can't believe some numpty's put the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre in here. Even if it's not your cup of coco, to say its one of the worst films ever made is laughable.

Perhaps it would suit a list of the most overhyped films ever rather than the worst.

Let's not forget that this lifetime has seen Disaster Movie, Spy KiRAB 3D and Rocky V.

It depenRAB really. Are we discussing the worst film ever made that has recieved cinema release or the actual worst film ever made. Eg. Trolls 2, My Uncle The Alien, Little Bigfoot 2!

The person who comes up with the thread never differentiates, so I guess, in this case, anything goes.

I thought Swallow My Pride 3 was significantly worse than the first two. :D

That Chesney Hawkes film Buddy's Song with Roger Daltrey has to be a candidate. The "one and only" film that made me want to stick cocktail sticks in my gonaRAB to ease the boredom.
