The Worst Film Ever Made

Good choice. The fact that the movie/play was supposed to be loosely based on the story of Motown and The Supremes - the songs were an insult to the brilliance of Motown. And in Diana Ross' worRAB, "we had higher highs and lower lows" - surely a film/stage adaptation is supposed to exploit and exaggerate parts of the story it's based on to make it more interesting, but everything was toned down ad nauseam.

I would cite the whole HSM franchise as the worst films ever made, because of the suppurating impact of them upon the brains of entire generations of children across the globe, and the consequences of this for the future of mankind.

You haven't really watched a film if you walk out of it, that's like me saying Inside Man & Smokin' Aces are shite, but then again I fell asleep for 75% of these films and they aren't really valid opinions, I may try to watch them again...............one day.

But some of the worse films ever IMO would be things like:

Bean the Movie - that film was just made for Americans, because all the jokes in film we'd seen before.

Son of the Mask - This was so shocking it was unbelievable! Just shows what people will do to cash in when they're out of money............Bob Hoskins:eek:

and really any Straight to Video/DVD Disney Sequel.......I had so much hope in The Return of Jafar , and pretty much gave up after Simba's Pride.

Thought of another one. The Polar Express. Absolutely horrible, horrible use of GCI - the characters just looked freakish, cold and sterile when they attempted to get them to look that realistic. It just fell flat. I've rarely seen another film - live action or animated - that was so emotionless.

Anybody ever stumbled across this movie channel? It's an African Movie Channel, (Nigerian, I think), and it really has to be seen to be believed.

You'll swear a bunch of people just stumbled across some film equipment one day and decided to make some movies.

:eek:How pathetic, i would put them in the category of Best Films Ever Made, and its not only children who love it, people of all ages do! Including myself who is not a child:sleep:

Not sure what the worst film ever made would be.

There's plenty of threaRAB on here about films being bad (as in shite) but to nominate a film as 'the worst film ever made' is more difficult.

There's 2 sides to this, (Intentionally) The Worst Film Ever Made and (Unintentionally) The Worst Film Ever Made.

(Intentionally) The Worst Film Ever Made -

I guess I could go for the usual suspects, anything by Ed Wood or John Waters but I'm gonna go with something more contemporary and say Grindhouse, in particular Planet Terror.

(Unintentionally) The Worst Film Ever Made -

Jaws: The Revenge, quite possibly the worst thing ever put on celluloid.

But I have to admit I'm a big fan of both these films, their badness borders on art.

You're all wrong...

I pride (?) myself as an afficiando of truly awful movies... i've sat through the very worst

I watched the whole of "children of the living dead" without gagging once.

But the the worst abuse of celluloid ever created was a 2004 film called "Jackhammer"
I defy anyone to watch it. DVD players commit suicide while it's playing.

As an aside, a good indicator of a truly bad movie is any mention of the phrase
"written, directed by and starring" on the DVD sleeve.

I've seen some shite in my time but the worst one ever has to be The Relic.
Closely followed by Snake Eyes - the only reason I stayed and watched all of this movie was because Nicolas Cage was in it.
