The Witches to be re-made..

I loved the book and have great memories of it,when i was in primary school one of the teachers used read it out to the class,i remember that everyone always enjoyed it.

i have seen the original film,it was okay but i felt it could of been so much better,i really hope that tim burton is kept far away from this,i'm just not a fan of him to be honest.
 
Nope, I usually defend remakes but can't defend this one. Charlie and the Chocolate factory was terrible compared to the original and this will be the same.
 
Agree. I watched it again on Sky last week and had forgotten how funny it is in parts. Angelica Huston and Mai Zetterling were brilliantly casted in the film.

I would also hate for Tim Burton to do a remake.
 
Weird, I was thinking the other day about The Witches and how I'd hate a remake because I love the original, but then I thought that if it had to be done I'd have Tim Burton do it, and then I find this thread.... spooky :eek:
