The Wireless Internet icon has vanished from my laptop-now I can only

connect via ethernet lead. Tried phoning? BT (Broadband provider), Windows and HP, but none have sorted it. Is there a way I can retrieve the facility I had up until last week-end. Novice. Thanks.
