The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Is it all above board? D'ya think Janeece will decide that she wants the baby back? What is the betting that Ruby will still be teaching and bringing up the baby at the same time?

Some of the storylines from the last series have been left hanging on a thread ...

As one poster said, where are the kitchen staff ie Bolton's mum and Denzil's mum (can't remember their names!!)? When Adam came into it last year, they were no where to be seen!!

I thought Finn's family were going to the US ... what happened there?

I know actors leave programmes but what happened to Steph - no one has mentioned her at all?? Also, the gay french teacher (I am really bad with names today!!!) :D

Someone please enlighten me????

As others have said, there is too much Fisher family.

I can't take to the Fisher husband, especially as he's in Corrie at the same time, is it necessary to have the entire family at the school.

Plus would a supply teacher really get involved so much in school life? They just handed out pre-prepared worksheets when I was at school.

The gay storyline went too fast. I mean trying to kiss Finn 5 mins into the episode. I can't see what they will do with Josh now.

Grantly is practically an extra so far this series, as are Sam and Amy to some degree. The youngest Kelly hasn't been seen, I'm not sure if the youngest James girl is still in it either.

There's a general lack of teachers. Jonah's dad has been in the opening titles since episode 1 but hasn't really started as a teacher yet.

Plus on a lighter note, it's funny that it is still only ever Tom who breaks up all the fights!

New head who lost her daughter - leaRAB to overprotectiveness at times - her husband had an affair - marriage blew up...
Chris Mead has been busy extricating himself from an involvement with a pupil who had claimed to be 24... risking CRB and career in the process. Blackmail is being headed off from the girl's bet mate (Vic was girl 1 in that one)..

Loved tonights ep. I wish people would just enjoy the show instead of picking continually stuff out. A lot of dramas forget about little things which have happened in previous series. Just enjoy what your watching.

No mention of Jess's sister tonight, but guessing she will pop us soon though. Few stories lines seem like they reaching a head next week though, looks very good.

I am really liking this series, esp how Grantly is getting more of a storyline, his storyline tonight made me cry a little.

Episode 3

BBC1 - 8pm - 08/09/2010

Waterloo Road is running a new sexual health initiative which includes a confidential emergency contraception service. This causes consternation among parents and staff alike. Ronan and his girlfriend, Sarah, are concerned; their condom broke during sex, but while Ronan wants Sarah to take the morning-after pill, she's too mortified to go to the nurse. Jess also has cause for concern: her promiscuous behaviour has resulted in her needing the morning-after pill
