The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

i always thought this when Rimmer left, give it time for development, hopefully we will have a good continuity for charachters for a while, Finn, Lauran, josh have 2 yrs left, and Denzil, emily have 5, so were ok for a while, it was a big leap when they lost Chlo, donte etc, but they seem to be covering themselves more now

I have never watched "Waterloo Road" before at all, so I don't know anything about any of the characters. But I watched yesterday's episode just because I was a bit slow in turning off, and I got hooked. Was it the first appearance by Luke Tittensor as Connor, or was he in last week? It's nice to see him back on track and rehabilitated after being naughty - and with more hair he's more hanRABome than when he was in Emmerdale.

I hope Chris Meed isn't leaving. Why can't the awful emotion-less head teacher leave?

Chris is a far superior character than most of the others in the show.

Shed seem to only manage 3 really good series of a show then it all goes bad. Bad Girls was good for the first 3 series then it went downhill with each series getting worse than the one before. i really enjoyed the first 3 series of waterloo road but its been off for me since series 4. but still i stick with it because i've watched since the start and i always hope for improvement. i don't feel this show is original enough, daring enough. also its too predictable, i mean be honest people didn't you see the janeece/ruby storyline coming a mile off? the show also doesn't really focus on storylines that have anything to do with a school. most of the storylines could be in any drama. i can think of a lot of school based storylines that could be tackled and aren't - when these issues are brought up they are only lightly touched upon and then promptly forgotten. i bought the boxsets for series 1-3, i never bought 4-5 and nothing on this series so far would make me want to buy it either.

But.... Finn is cute and i'd love to date him:p

Here's what should happen in next weeks episode and this will be the only episode to have a title it will be called 'The Wrath of Karma' and the main plot will be "After a visit to his grandad's house Harry steals his old WW2 weapons (silenced gun and 2 grenades) and Harry, John and his sister use them to put Finn in his place". :D

One can dream. :D

Every time the Fisher family are shown at home, I'm expecting a knock at the door from Bex!

She did appear on screen briefly, in the first or second episode, as a flashback in Karen's mind.

shes played by Linzey Cocker, who was one of the british frienRAB of Emma Roberts character in the film 'Wild Child' :)

Seeing Steph at the end reminded me of how good Waterloo Road used to be...but when it was advertised as her being in 2 episodes I didn't expect one of them to be a one minute cameo at the end! Hopefully an explanation as to why she left in the next episode, but not banking on it. Awful continuity for one of the shows biggest stars.

The reveal was a huge letdown after being built up over 9 episodes and taking centre stage. I expected a lot more tbh.

So pleasing to see the mid series finale revolve around Grantly. His scenes with Fleur have been so touching and I'm enjoying his relationship with Ruby, even though they have totally ruined Ruby's character with this baby storyline.

Also what's the point of making a big deal over Josh's sexuality if it was never to be mentioned again?? It just seemed like a one episode thing, which is weird.

With the return of Bex next week and the end of the Chris (another character ruined by a pathetic story)/Jess storyline I'm hoping for some fresh material in the 2nd half that actually involves Karen running a school. Looks like Charlie leaves next week aswell, which makes sense considering he's had a permanent role in Corrie for a while now.

Very predictable story lines, although i'm liking this series better than the last. Happy Janeece is back!! What happened in the end with Amy and fin??? presume they just broke up xxx
