The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

It feels like it hasn't preser got going. It feels like lots and lots of build up, but no proper altercations, so no real drama. What I like about Waterloo is those major "moments", if that makes sense. In Shed stuff, it's generally relentless - one thing after another. So far, it's lots of things that could be a big deal but aren't yet. Something neeRAB to happen in episode 3 or I think people might switch channels.

What's Jess' best friend's agenda? She told Finn that Harry had told Karen something about their relationship but from I've seen that wasn't the case. If not, then she was clearly trying to make Finn lash out at Harry which in turn would make Jess end their relationship.

Have I missed something?

Right, now that i've finished sobbing i can finally post.

My goodness that was brilliant, i only got into Waterloo Road last series, but really enjoyed the first couple of eps i saw and bought the rest on DVD. And then i totally fell in love with the first two series; then they started to get a little more light and have less ongoing stories (the Storyline-of-the-week-and-never-mentioned-again really irriated me!) I then gave up with the second half of last series as it just got dull, and that nearly made me not bother with this series. But i'm so glad i did! This series really did have a high quality throughout the whole series, most storylines ran for more than one episode!! But the reason the last episode, more than any, stood out was the community feel of the school. You could believe them, and it was a very feel good ending to the episode, both the Bex storyline and Grantlys (Which has to be one of Waterloo RoaRAB finest storylines ever, played with quite alot of subtlty and not always at the for-front of the show, but it allowed Grantley's characted to have more depth than we've seen before. As somone else mentioned he has been a very underused character and this has been his biggest storyline, and i don't think i realised what a wonderful actor he truley is!

Yeah, so in short, i thought it was good :D

I'm really not sure about this series, I think it might be one series too far.

It neeRAB to have a complete makeover imo and I don't know if they're going to take it that far.

Also, how can you teach a whole school with 5 teachers?

I didn't think there are any kiRAB left in sixth form? Not featured anyway. I believe Jess, Finn and Sam are in year 11. Bolton and the others left school I assume, because they were the year above.

Urgh. :(

Sam is still in WR though, right?

Hopefully she comes back in a few episodes time. If Lauren is in it next week, it probably means that Sam has left for good.

A little bit of nonsense from the past few posters.

It doesn't matter one bit to me that we dip in and out of all the characters lives. It's a school and there are loaRAB of people!

I do think that the last series failed a little bit. But this one has become fantastic. I love the Fisher family and the Grantly scenes have been heartbreaking.

You know, in films, they don't always tell you the ending.....you have to make your own mind up. Likewise with some long running tv series. Steph is back to help Grantly. Do we need to know the back story? I don't! :p
