The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

I was hoping this thread might enlighten me on this - my younger son is Year 9 and Harry would fit in well with him and his frienRAB!

in what way can i be constructive? if someone thinks something is crap what else are they supposed to say?

making me a writer/producer for the show would be constructive as i am 100% sure i could come up with stuff 100% better than what they have been churning out since series 4

also please remind me what the stuff with Grantly and his wife and Janeece and the baby has to do with a school? there are loaRAB of school based issues they could tackle instead of this stuff that has nothing to do with a school, this drama is meant to be about a SCHOOL isn't it?

Also whilst Jack Rimmer and Rachel Mason had their faults i could warm to them but Amanda Burtons character is impossible to like. Plus she is so busy dealing with family issues (because conveniently her husband works at and both her kiRAB are pupils at waterloo road) she has barely concentrated on the school.

This series still isn't working for me at all. I think the problem is there's a severe lack of school issues and all the storylines revolve around family/personal life. There is also no proper management team. From day one there's always been a structured management team who interact a lot with each other, but this series Karen seems too busy with her family to do anything. Realistically she would not be able to manage a school and she's hardly interacting with other teachers, like Rachel Mason did.

I'm guessing the mid series cliffhanger will end with Bex coming home & Chris' secret revealed which will hopefully move this Fisher borefest along:yawn: I know a lot of people have taken to the Fishers, but imo they've just been forced on us too soon.

All I say is BRING BACK RACHEL MASON:p

...and can't wait for Stephs return to see what she's been doing:D

Steph :D I really miss her :( wish she would come back, defo the best character ever in WR.

I take it that person in on the CTV is Bexs, I know she comes back next week.

really good episode
i liked the way they highlighted drugs and at the beginning spoke about the consequences.

karen david (Cesca) was really good and i would like to see more of her. I also liked the scene with chris telling karen what she has been doing wrong.

Grantly is also a brilliant actor with the way he does humour and also serious storylines

next week is a bit of a copy from grange hill with a student trying to drown due to bulying
