The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

Chris slept with Jess Fisher believing her to be older at the start.

Karen Fisher (headteacher) has split from her husband as he was having an affair, she lost her other daughter when she ran away.

Josh tried to kiss Finn - he wasn't very happy about it.

The new big teacher dude is the father of a family in which half of the children want to be there, the other half don't - he's there to keep tabs.

Janeece has returned pregnant as the new secretary - she is giving her baby up for adoption, to Ruby.

Can someone please explain what happened to Rose Kelly and the other woman from the canteen?

In the last series a major storyline was about them taking over the canteen - now it just seems like it never occurred  did I miss something?

And I'm confused with this new '6th form' thing... their appears to be only 3 or 4 pupils in it (inc the heaRAB daughter) - what's going on? why dont we see these students walking around the school? does this mean next year the likes of Finn and Sam will be in the 6th form? if so why are the likes of Bolton and others not in the 6th form? - where did they go?

And why do Finn and Amy never interact with each-other anymore? considering they had a massive storyline in the last series what happened? and what happened with Finns family who where moving to America? did they stay? and what's happening with him at home now? the mind boggles....

I love Waterloo Road but I have never seen so many plot holes!

Why's he wearing a polo shirt in the first place! Shouldn't it be shirt and tie?

And surely they'd've contacted Vicky when her Dad was dying.

First of all I'm extremely disappointed that the BBC did not repeat this weeks ep AT ALL on BBC3 which meant I was unable to watch it and it looks like the same is going to happen again this week.

Come on BBC - what the hell? WR was always repeated at around 12AM - 2AM on BBC3 I found it even more frustrating that some stupid repeat (already shown 4 or 5 times before) of 'him and her' was in its place. Not at all happy with this.

Unfortunately iPlayer is not an option for me so I think I'm going to have to buy the box set!

Steph!

I wonder if they'll mention where she went to? As far as I can recall, they never have done in the past?

And what the hell is John Barnes doing in Waterloo Road next week?!

That's one more subject than last year ..... and does anyone know how a wireless web cam works without a computer or a power source? I want one of those. ;)

Discuss here :D

Episode one - BBC1 - 8PM 1/9/2010

It's a fresh start for Waterloo Road, with the arrival of dynamic new head teacher Karen Fisher. Karen's first challenge at the school arrives in the form of the Kirbys

I must be blind to the truth as well then  :p

Enjoying this series a lot more than the last. The Fisher family are great, even if you don't like parts of their characters I can forgive them as they are struggling to cope really. Not as keen on the Ronan story as it's come out of nowhere and I didn't buy it. Loving Janeece and Ruby together, hope they keep the comedy in their relationship and it doens't become too serious.

I wonder when/if the Jess and Chris secret will be revealed as it seems to be takng a back seat now.

An amazing opening to the series - carried largely by the fantastic Amanda Burton; she has been faultless in these couple of episodes. What a great signing for WR.
I wonder if we've said goodbye to the silly one off school trip episodes at the farm / supply teacher's house that always end in chaos etc that we've been 'treated' to of late, and replaced this with more hard-hitting storylines, with the odd bit of WR humour added for measure?

It seems that Sam WON'T be back for whatever series there filming now - but i hope she's back this series.

oh and

Yay at Steph being back soon!
