Saw it today and loved it. This and Zombieland are the best movies I've seen recently. Surprises to me since I didn't have expectations for either. I haven't read this book series so I don't know how it is in comparison to the books, but I loved it. It had a little of everything and was really funny. Loved the casting. Have a new crush in Chris. And I've always liked Josh. And John C. Reilly was awesome as always. Too bad the movie did so poorly at the box office this weekend. I thought it was quite the treat. :)
 
Sounds interesting! I'm so glad there are vampire films coming out with plots like these.

Saw a poster for the movie at the theater in my mall! I got really excited and i think my friends thought i ws nuts :lol:

Josh Hutcherson stuggles in a fight in this new sneak peek of his upcoming flick, The Vampire’s Assistant.

Based on the popular book series, the movie is about a young boy named Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) meets a mysterious man (John C. Reilly) at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After a series of events Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire.

Josh stars as Steve, Darren’s best friend, alongside Salma Hayek and Ken Watanabe.

The Vampire’s Assistant hits theaters October 2009.

Just saw the preview for the first time today on tv.

It looked soo funny. haha. I am planning to see it. =)
