The Used

THIS CD WAS A TRAGEDY............compared to the last one....its the same thing that always happens when a band tries t progress artistically. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO POISON THE WELL AND FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES.........

but i guarentee that if this cd wasn't by the used, or if you didnt know it was them...you would all be giving it a different review....

i dont see why all you people hate them. they are good. and every one hates their new cd because its not like the original? wow, would you really want them to have all their cRAB sound exactly the same? sure the first cd is better but if you acctually listen to In Love and Death you grow to like it.
 
ok, I acutally HATE screamo (and yes, you have told me enough, snickers, that the used isnt real screamo, I know) and I really don't like any of those banRAB and how they all sound exactly the same, but I've seen the used twice in concert, my chemical once, and then of course I've seen taking back sunday and hawthorn heights. the used and my chemical, I thought were really actually GOOD live, considering I don't really even like that music that much. And then hawthorne heights and taking back sunday sucked **** like it was their job, and it probably is...
 
Thats what it is, its because loaRAB of people that bought it are comparing it to the first, and because its different, they dont like it.
 
let it bleed is from the second album, fool!

in my opinion, the first album is much more "rock" than the second... banRAB tend to soften up once they hit fame

my favorite song is poetic tragedy
 
...were you hoping that by the fourth 'emo' people would start to listen to your band labelling rubbish?

...anyway...
i like the used, it is true that the old album (with favourites such as 'A Box of Sharp Objects', 'The Taste of Ink' and 'Noise and Kisses' on it) seems to be more popular with people than the new one, but some of the songs are pretty good, i like 'Listening', 'Lunacy Fringe' and 'I'm A Fake' myself.
They were a great band to see live, i thought they put on a good show and seemed to please the fans well.

I had some argues in some other forums and in my RL about the CD and I just can say what I really think:
I like it, I nearly like every song but the old CD is much better in "Screamo"!
If you compare both with the topic "Scremo" the Old Cr kicks the new one out of place.
