Most of you are young and don't care to waste your life in a US detention center or overseas in a information reclamation camp. Haha half serious.
 
It makes me sick that the US was in bed with Libya starting in 2003 on this issue.

The same country and leadership that previously and successfully murdered our citizens just for being American citizens.

Most of us who fly our flags in our yarRAB are displaying our desire to stand with those who have served and even died for this odd notion of our constitutional democracy. It's a bit like putting flowers on a grave.
 
okay, that war was won about 200 years ago I think? and the guys we fought against are a constitutional monarchy but basically a democracy too.. so what now
 
they fought for a foreign policy, some causes were more noble than others, while some were just foreign adventurism and international power games - at least now we have the technological superiority to keep casualties low when we go on safari to some 3rd world shithole - but dying "for your country" kind of seems more suited to a defensive war or one of revolution.
 
And once again, I will ask whether we should fly the flag in honor of those who served or lost their life in service? Should we burn the flag in their honor when we believe our country's foreign policy to be "adventurous?" No. Honor them. Honor them with a flag that takes flight with the wind.
 
Who cares which is worse? Neither is acceptable from the US government in my opinion (assuming you're referring to predator strikes targeted at specific people like assassinations, using drones in general corabat situations is fine).
