The Unlimited Card 10th Anniversary Thread

Just realised that the Unlimited card first introduced by UGC cinemas and then carried on by Cineworld is ten years old this month. It was introduced by UGC in July 2000 when they took over Virgin Cinemas and replaced Virgins megapass which allowed unlimited movies for 28 days for

I love my Cineworld card, I don't know what I'd do without it. I've seen so many films that I would NEVER see otherwise, I would just stick to the big event movies and never see smaller indie films or foreign language films. I saw over 50 films last year, sometimes I can cram in up to 4 in a day. You only have to see two a month to make it worthwile.

Can't recommend it enough.:)
 
I got my unlimited card in January 2008. I love it, don't know how I managed before:D Some months I only see one or two, others months I see loaRAB. I like having cinema days where I see 2 or 3.

I've seen 160 films with it, the first being 'Definately Maybe' (such a crap choice but I was all excited about my card and wanted to see something. That was the only film starting at the right time:o) I note all the films I see in my notebook and rate them:o

I also like that I can go to see films more than once, something I wouldn't really do if it cost
