I saw a trailer for this today .... and it looks like it might be a really good horror movie ..... I hid behind my dressing gown through bits in the trailer !:D

I LOVE horror movies but I am a wimp, I won't watch them on my own, and if they look too scary then I won't go to the cinema to see them .... and well .... I won't be going to the cinema to see this one as I was well freaked out by the trailer.

Soooooooooooooo .... if anyone goes to see it when it's released this month, please report back and tell me if it's as good as it looks, and as freaking scarey as it looks:)

Thanks

It is scary and at times felt uncomfortable watching it as it is rather revolting and disgusting in parts.

Having watched the film as whole though it is still very much a horror-by-numbers quite predictable and some bits pulled from other horror films.
I was left at the end feeling a bit - "Meh, I've seen it all before!"

Having said that - the two people either side of me kept jumping throughout and it is a bit of a squirmer and not for the faint-hearted.

It's not overly scary, but I did quite like the story behind it and wish they'd gone into that more.

Its a lot better than some recent horror films I've seen in the cinema. I'd give it a 3, maybe 3.5 out of 10

Just watched this because Gary Oldman was in it. It wasn't scary at all and Gary Oldman wasn't in it much.

I did like the lead actress though. Very nice indeed. Looked her up and I have seen her before in House and Cloverfield.

One of the best aspects of the movie was the casting. During the flashbacks the younger her was the spitting image of the lead. Not often you get than in movies.
