Alright, so I was wondering.. I just recently registered for the U.S. Military draft. I was wondering if say America went to war or was in need of a national emergency and I was 27+ years old. Would I still be forced to go into the military to help out? The reason I ask is because I was looking on about.com and it said this..
What is the Draft and How Does it Work?
The "draft" is the actual process of calling men between ages 18 - 26 to be inducted to serve in the U.S. military. The draft is typically used only in the event of war or extreme national emergency as determined by the Congress and the president.

I heard my parents said not everyone who signs up for the draft gets chosen, it's a randomly selected amount. Is that correct?
Thanks!
Also I do have a disability, which is hearing so I don't know if that would be excusable.
