The Typing Of The Dead (Dreamcast) Problem.?

Hello, I am trying to The Typing Of The Dead on my SEGA Dreamcast, however it says that I must have a controller in port A and a keyboard in port C, which I do. And then it says "You need a Dreamcast Keyboard to play "The Typing Of The Dead" Connect the keyboard to a port." and won't go any further than that screen. My copy of the game is very clean and scratch-less. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this, or if i need to fix/replace, my Dreamcast, my keyboard, or the game itself. I'd greatley appreciate any help you can offer me, and thank-you
