The volturi was great. Favourite song on the soundtrack gotta be Thom Yorke's Hearing Damages also the scene with Hearing damages is one of my favourite scene in the movie.

charlie was great in NM. loved the way billy and kristen seem to really have good chemistry as father/daughter.

ALICE!!!! loved her. ashley blew me away with her performance. loved the alice/jacob banter. it excites me for the rosalie/jacob banter.

i really enjoyed the bella/jacob friendship and how they were able to portray the fact that they were friends and not just in a love triangle.

[sp]one thing i wished we saw was the plane ride home, but i guess they needed to keep up the pace with the movie. also would have loved to have seen the part where bella is freaking out in the volturi lobby and alice turns to edward and says, "maybe you should slap her." that would have made my night![/sp]

all in all i loved the movie.

now your icon really cracks me up Chris

ok on fridays oprah they are going to show a new eclipse trailer. they are saying that it is the final one, not so sure about that because we only have one out right now. we shall see.

I'm very lucky that I caught myself before I yelled him. But on the other hand if I did yell at him, he'd probably always remember me

oh my lordy i would have died if i was yelling at some random person and it turns out to be jackson! that it hilarious though, would have made my night to have him smile at me like all night.

^yeah i didn't think their would be a whole lot to watch at the premiere, but i did look online to see what they were all wearing. they all looked pretty good, but what the hell was nikki reed wearing? she looked like a ice-skating bird - yeesh!

taylor was really funny on kimmel, probably his best interview.

Taylor was hilarious on Kimmel :rotfl:

I actually watched the Live Stream last night. You didn't miss much. I figured since I watched the New Moon one, I might as well watch the Eclipse one. It's always interesting to see who is there and to see cast members other than Rob, Taylor and Kristen.

I kind of like the scene although in the book Jacob is more cocky about it. In the clip he's all emo :look:

saw it again today with my sister (she never read the books) and she was on the edge of her seat. she kept turning to me and asking me questions like: why is jacob so annoying? bella loves edward!, what the hell did bella do kissing jake and hurting edward like that? what a bitch!, and finally OMG is jacob gonna die?
it was really fun watching it with someone who never read the books so she has no idea whats going to happen. now she is really excited for breaking dawn and she keeps asking me if bella and edward end up together or does she pick jacob. i refuse to spoil it and told her to read the books so she is mad at me (which is HIGHlarious)
again i must say it was the best movie out of all of them. ashley greene was an amazing alice - the perfect fit for my favorite character! and anna kendrick stole the spotlight again with her graduation speech, she is genius. she makes a great jessica, always a great commic relief in all 3 films. her and billy burke make the small characters into stars!

'New Moon' Director Chris Weitz Reveals Five Secrets About The Film
Gold eyes, black eyes, a speaking Rachelle Lefevre and more!
By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Larry Carroll

In honor of the disc's release on March 20, director Chris Weitz sat down with MTV News to reveal five things you probably didn't know about "New Moon." Here's what we learned.

Going for the Gold: In "Twilight," RPattz and the rest of his vegetarian vampire cohorts have gold-colored eyes as a result of abstaining from consuming human blood. For "New Moon," the vamps' eyes were clearly more golden. Why'd Weitz have his actors switch to brighter contact lenses?
"It's a more noticeable gold," Weitz said. "I thought that in the first film they hadn't popped quite enough and I wanted to have that sense of otherworldliness carry through more."

The Silent Vampire: Actress Rachelle Lefevre was notoriously replaced in her role as the vampire Victoria following "New Moon," with Bryce Dallas Howard taking over the part for "Eclipse." In "New Moon," Lefevre is seen but does not speak. Is there a connection between her lack of lines and what happened with the casting decision?

"It wasn't so much that," Weitz said. "There was a dialogue scene with her, and eventually that will show up whenever they release deleted scenes. It was one of those scenes that, when you look back at it, it's kind of a surplus to the whole storytelling requirement of the movie. So there was no ill intent there. I wrote Rachelle and explained why that scene didn't end up in the film, and in terms of filmmaking I can't regret it, although I do regret it very much if it hurt Rachelle's feelings."

Why So Torn Up, Edward?: At one point in the film, Pattinson's Edward Cullen appears in a ripped T-shirt, but we never learn why. So ... what the heck happened?

"What it's supposed to be is that he's essentially been wearing the same clothes for several months, and that eventually they've just worn out because, as you I'm sure know, his body is like stone. So he must've rubbed up against something and it ripped," Weitz said.

Our Lord?: In its Italian-set portions, "New Moon" features a significant amount of religious iconography, and Edward certainly suffers a great deal. Is he supposed to be a Christ figure?

"I think that he is in a sense he's doomed to suffer eternally," Weitz said. "He actually thinks of himself as a damned figure, but he's wrong about that. So in some senses, yeah, he is a martyr figure."

Black Eyes: In Stephenie Meyer's book, Edward's eyes go black in Italy. Why don't his eyes turn in the film?

"It's because I screwed up!" Weitz admitted.

Really? He just forgot?

"Well, yeah, I kinda did," he said. "Well, there are two reasons. One is that I messed up. The other reason is that I actually thought that onscreen it would be quite bizarre to see his eyes go completely black, and that it would be more satisfying and less jarring to have that moment of reunion be a reunion with revivified Edward. But probably, the long and the short of it, there are many details that I did not drop the ball on, and there are some that I did."

agree that scene was great, KStew really knows how to relate to her audience. perfect song for the scene too.

volturi were great they should really have had more scenes, but i guess they did that with the whole fight thing.

i was reading this article that was about this movie theater i think in washington that put up a sign to ban people from kissing a cardboard cut out of edward because apparently people were doing it so much. just thought that was funny and wanted to share.

ok just watched it, holy crap that was hilarious. i love twilight, but i like when people make fun of it too (is that weird?).

found this and i thought it was hilarious:
Twilite: Parody Novel of Twilight

Twilite Parody Twilight There’s a new novel that pokes fun in a major way at Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. Stephen Jenner wrote a full-length spoof of the book. Here’s an excerpt–

The first time Stella sees Edweird Sullen:

I continued to scan the Sullens’ table for another available stud and quickly found one who was nearly as hot as Casper. Again I queried Maria, this time about the youngest Sullen boy, trying to hide my newly-formed schoolgirl crush on him.

“The boy over there, with the perfect face, nose, eyes, and lips…and chiseled chin, broad shoulders, strapping chest and tree trunk arms…and that V-shaped torso, thin waist and muscular legs like that of an Olympic cyclist. And perfectly manicured finger and toenails. Who is he, and what’s his story?”

“Oh, that’s Edweird,” she said, rolling her eyes as if they were the seven and ten pins teetering and deciding whether to fall down or not. “He’s dreamy. But he doesn’t date. Apparently, even the best looking girls in the school are not good enough for him. Rumor has it that he’s only interested in five foot four, average looking dark haired girls who only recently moved to Sporks from a hot climate state beginning with the letter “A.” Go find someone who fits that description!” Maria dejectedly shook her head, the contents of her shot glass riding up and spilling over the sides. She leaned down close to the table, shot out her pink tongue and lapped up the droplets.

I now turned my full attention to Edweird. Edweird looked as though he was transplanted to Sporks from the pages of Greek mythology. He was tall, with long, lean muscles, perfect angular features, and boyish good looks — remarkably like the boy who played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies, but with spiky hair. That’s all I’m going to tell you about Edweird now, but don’t you worry: I’ll be describing his perfection from this point on every chance I get in four — count ‘em, four — amazingly long (and expensive) books.
