The Tudors Series 4

Just went onto sky website and entered the tudors into the notify me tool.
it says it is due in the autumn.

It was god-awful wasn't it? I've never read anything about Henry VIII having a Cockney accent. :D JRM may look like a high-fashion model straight out of Vogue but he's got the changeable, impulsive, tempermental persona nailed.

They grated on me too at first, the main one being the merging of Henry's sisters Mary and Margaret thus messing up the Lady Jane Grey/James King of Scots/Mary Queen of Scots thing, but since they aren't carrying on after Henry's death (although I would have loved to have seen Edward and Mary's reign) I suppose it doesn't matter. Thomas Cromwell is great I agree, I'm watching Series 3 at the minute and he's definitely one of the best characters.

Anne Askew's episode should be interesting, I'm really glad they're covering that. I've head the most disturbing episode is the one where Catherine Howard, Culpepper and Dereham are executed.

Sorry to disappoint, but Henry definitely starts to show his age. And not that much bed hopping, but of course there is some - it just won't be the King doing it.

Apart from the bits with Sean Bean as Robert Aske :o At least he's a Yorkshireman, unlike the Irish bloke they got to play that part in The Tudors!

The chap who plays Henry is so sexy. :D I was watching a documentary on the History Channel about Henry. Before he died Henry was fat 28 stone, bloated with syphillis and ulcerated legs. When in his coffin his body exploded leaving a foul stench before the buried him........

I can't remember which series it was, but they were travelling through Linconshire and it despite in reality being the flattest place ever - it looked like something from Lord of the Rings.

I think that would be series 3 though I am not 100% sure as I have not seen that one for a while -but I remedy that this week as the DVD is coming in the post :D.

Makes you proud to be British doesn't it? :D

Am glad The Tudors is coming back - bit of daft escapism for a Friday night. Used to be very scathing about it, but now I take it at face value and enjoy it.

If you go onto youtube there are a few clips of whats to come...Jonathon Ryhs Meyers does not even come close to being the 28 stone henry V111 when he died...Catherine Parr his final wife is being played by Joely RicharRABon
