so i must first admit that i am a dumbass for leaving my atm card inside the machine so that it could be destroyed. thats a given. i soon realized what i had done, and went to the bank to tell them what happened and that i needed a new card.
so they ask me if my card had been stolen, and knowing that it wasnt, i said no. then they inform me that it will cost me $20 to get a new card. they are only replaced for free when the have been stolen.
im fucking honest with this woman and i get screwed. i could have easily told her that i had been robbed at knife point, and all of my personal belongings were stolen. i could have lied and gotten a free card.
fuckers.
 
don't most atm's have cameras that monitor all activity? (they do here)
in that case you did the right thing. better than being caught on tape, in a disastrous lie, being shown it and having to apologize.
 
ahhhh no one ever looks at those things. the only people i've noticed to use the cams work for CSI ;) you wouldn't have gotten caught if you lied, but you made your choice, so don't be too hard on your self
 
lol, dont make such a big deal out of it. I've lost hundreds of dollars because of stupid shit. The best you can do is either deal with it or get revenge somehow :cool: . (after losing the money, once I find out how I usually make them pay me back, brute force is your friend)
 
thats a screwed up bank to begin with... $20 for a plastic card? i get junk mail with credit cards in them all the time for free. lol. im with the canadian... dont be so hard on yurself.
 
is it true that in canada people are so nice that they dont even lock their doors, but accross the river in detroit, theres one of the highest crime rates in the US? i saw that on TV somewhere, and dont remember where thats why i dont trust the integrity entirely....

Michael Moore probably set that up, as he is a lying, insignificant scumbag who has extremely well performed persuasion skills.

Canadians are no nicer than Americans, thats a generalist view on it... Canadians and Americans are pretty much the same, except for gun laws and some stuff like that. Crime rates would probably go down if Canada were to take over the US, and crime rates would go up if the US took over Canada. If it were easier to own guns in Canada, and the constitution said that every family should have a gun, and if my family was as brainwashed .... err... Patriotic enough to believe that whatever the constitution says should be law, then my family would own a gun.
 
yep yur right. i did see it in that movie. i agree with what u said about that festering boyle. i hate a liar so much and i have no respect or sympathy for any of them... especially one who gets so much publicity.
