my family and i are really good friends with a muslim family and even though i've studied religious education and have a GCSE and an A -Level in the subject, i have never studied the religion and i have shown great interest about it and so i read on the internet 'sex in islam' (i understand that sex is considered as taboo) and it said a wife cannot refuse her husband when making sexual advances, but if the woman does not want to do it, isn't that rape? please do not interpret my question as an accusation, or offensive...i am merely curious. so if anyone could help me that would be great. thanks.
