The Top Ten Most Ridiculous Gundams

I visit Topless Robot frequently. It's a good nerd culture blog. It also delves into anime from time to time, especially since the blog's editor - Rob Bricken - was a part of Anime Insider. And, today's (or yesterday's) top ten list was the ten most ridiculous Gundams ever made. Read it because it's good, but here's the short list (from 1 to 10):Tequila GundamMermaid GundamToro GundamZebra GundamNoble GundamZeus GundamHurricane GundamTurn-A GundamGrizzly GundamJester GundamTo sum it up, save for Turn-A, all the Gundams come from G-Gundam. I knew that there would be a lot of Gundams from that show to compile a list of WTF mecha, but I got a question: Where's Wing Zero Custom?



It has angel wings, for Mel Gibson's sake!

Top 10 most ridiculous looking Gundams is a rather self-defeating list really, since most of it will just boil down to all the amusing G Gundam suits.

But why no Maxter? It's a frigging Football cum Boxing Gundam!
 
Meh, too easy. I would've liked to see them do one without using any Gundams from G Gundam. The results probably would have been much more interesting.

Also, I disagree with the Turn-A, a bit. If ignore the mustache, the design itself is really great. But then I think that the mustache is what makes it unique and endearing. It's not that much of a change from the usual Gundam goatee. I personally find it to be one of my more favorite Gundam designs, actually. Though I'll admit when I first saw it I was almost turned away from the series, but once you really look at it and get used to it, it's not that ridiculous. Ah well.
 
I agree with you 100%. When I first saw it I thought it looked ridiculous, but it grew on me during the series and the characters all realized it made the Gundam look kinda silly which was why they kept calling shirohige or white mustache.
