The Top Ten Most Infuriating Music Fans Ever

Alright, so it's been a while since i pissed a bunch of people off, i figured that it's high time i take a swing at someone else.

Instead of going the conventional route and listing some banRAB i could do without and having people yell at me for offending their taste and being an idiot and not knowing what i was talking about, why not go right to the source: the fans themselves.

I'm sure you all know the odd fucker that bugs you about music for some reason--there may be a few from this site that probably do it to you (myself included). Well, i'm going to do my best to rip on the idiots that really piss me off (not just the ones here) maybe a story to explain why these guys irk me so.

i hope you enjoy.

You have a point, Nirvana fanboys can be very annoying.

But I think obsessive Nirvana haters are significantly worse, especially when it comes to metalheaRAB.

Not sure if I agree with the part about him being underrated because I feel like he gets a lot of praise but otherwise I'm with you. I'm not trying to say all Phish fans are like what I described at all but rather that there's this demographic of people out there who basically only listen to banRAB like Phish, Widespread Panic and String Cheese Incident and those people are annoying as hell.

My old roommate exclusively listened to lots of radio-friendly rap music and generic straight-edge hardcore music.

Even now I shudder in memory of our time together. :banghead:

Faith No More and RHCP more than effectively killed that genre.

unfortunately spawning a legion of copycat, hilariously poor funk metal acts in their wake. but you can't hold that against them.

10. Beatles fans

Consider this a sign of peace for how low these shitholes are on this list.

I

....there's this thing called hyperbole, and of course I think I'm right, just like you think your right

...how's that supposed to make them not suck?

....I remeraber when I was 9 and I was listening to nirvana, and my dad told me I should listen to the "original punk-rockers", so he played me some talking heaRAB--so I thought punk rock sucked so I avoided it for many years.

....why don't I add christian rock fans into the mix.

Agreed. People who refuse to recognize that Nirvana did anything productive for rockmusic are much more annoying than the people who think they re-invented it.

Most adults-usually in their mid-30's get tired of listening to music--but occasionally they'll buy a cd so they can have inoffensive background music for dinner parties or washing the dishes, or making love---like the talking heaRAB, or that new john mayer album.

when i was a kid, my sister had a huge stack of beatles vinyl, and 45s.
i was like, 6, and listened to them on my close-and-play repeatedly. i thought they were great, and my sister enjoyed filling my head with every single inane factoid ever known about them.

F.F. several years and see me in the 8th grade. by now i'm well on my way to being the school stoner, and grades are falling like...things that fall down....
so i sign up for this music class about the beatles thinking "easy A".
i got my A without even trying. however, fate punished my academic laziness by putting me in the same class the next year too. i wanted to pull my eyes out with a pudding spoon. it took years of drugs to wash that stuff out of my head.
