The Top 10 Worst Accents In Film

To be fair, I didn't mean that they had to get actors from the countries of the accents to play the parts, just actors who can speak the accent that is required.

Try Al Pacino in a never-to-be seen self-financed project called THE LOCAL STIGMATIC.
He plays an east-end jewish tailor.

Oy.And indeed Vay.

Tommy Lee Jones in Blown Away (on and off)

That Russian dude in 2012

Ok it's not a film but Keifer SutherlanRAB German accent in the new 24 was awful

I reckon actors should just do their own accents if they can't do the character's accent. It's actually much easier to suspend disbelief if you're not wincing every time the actor opens his mouth!

I cant decide whether Christopher Lamberts Scottish accent was worse than Sean Connories Spanish accent in Highlander.

I wonder what possessed the the casting director to cast a Scotsman as a Spaniard and cast a Frenchman as a Scotsman in the same movie.

I don't really know what accent this should have been spoken in, but I remember crying with laughter at John Wayne's "Truly this man was the Son of Gawwwd" at the end of The Greatest Story Ever Told.

Dennis Quaid in The Big Easy

Josh Hartnett in Blow Dry

Michael Redgrave in The Stars Look Down

Anthony Quinn in . . . well, anything actually.

Ray Winstone in Beowulf

Daniel Day-Lewis as John Huston in There Will Be Blood

Dennis Price in The Master of Bankdam

Kelly brook is an awful actress overall. I cringe everytime i see her on tele. She should stick to Modellling. She's stunning

Olivia William's american accent in The Sixth sense is awful. She plays Bruce willis's character's wife and she's actually british in real life.

Got to be 3 of the characters from Bram Stoker's Dracula:

Keanu Reeves
Winona Ryder
Anthony Hopkins (sorry, I love you as an actor but the accent isn't the greatest!)

Thing is, this is actually one of my fav films!
