The Terminator Trilogy

The 1st terminator is a classic, the 2nd is just James Cameron showing off the sfx. The 3rd gets it back on track. It's meant to be dark and apocalyptic.

As for the plothole, I just think that maybe John had a different father. Maybe Sarah met some guy that night in the diner. John could still have been born and still have led the resistance.
 
I disagree. The characters written by Cameron were outstanding. The transformation of Sarah Connor into an ass-kicking vigilante was the most gratifying and you could see the qualities in John that could make him a leader in the future.

In T3, they killed off Sarah COnnor and turned John into a whimpering loser.

well, we don't actually KNOW that she is dead, only that the terminator has that information given to it by john conner!!!

could be a GIGANTIC SWERVE :eek: or i'm just bumming you along :D
 
Look there were some great action sequences and the restful shot of the missiles was lovely....but hell, Alexander had some great battle scenes too.
 
T1 is my favourite. It has some great chase scenes and scares.
I like T2, especially Sarah's tough new attitude, but the T-1000 terminator bothers me more than any confusing time travel storylines. Even suspending disbelief I don't understand how something like that is supposed to work. :confused::o
T3 is the weakest film but it has its moments.
