The Taking of Prince Harry

Feature-length docu-drama examining the risks of redeploying Prince Harry to the front line in Afghanistan, presenting a hypothetical scenario in which he is kidnapped while on military duty. The programme explores what the likely responses would be if such a high-profile individual were to be captured - how it would be managed in the UK, who would be in charge and how the negotiations would be carried out. Starring Sebastian Reid

Channel 4 9:00pm-10:30pm (1 hour 30 minutes) Thu 21 Oct

They've been asked not to air the programme, I thought. Typical of C4's bad taste - they're such a Jekyll and Hyde bunch :(

Seems in about as good taste as the Execution of Gary Glitter, just using a "name" to drum up publicity for another crappy drama instead of letting it stand on its own merits.

Didn't they show a fake assassination of GW Bush the other year? This Prince Harry thing sounRAB like a similar "internet troll in TV form" :-)
Gosh! How very controversial! Yawn.

Well, everyone could hit C4 where it hurts and not watch it, but I fear more than enough people will, out of curiosity more than anything I think.

I won't be watching, Law and Order UK is on ITV at the same time I think? If I'm wrong about that I'll just find something else to watch or do.:D

'The Taking of Prince Harry' ...

Hmmm, the title of this thread and of tonight's programme is rather suggestive of a specialised, 'niche', porno-kink.

In that context, Im expecting tonight's show to mainly feature a bunch of horse-faced, vacuous, would-be-Sloanes intent on mating with a 'much-beloved' (ahem), ginger-nutted, interbred, thicko royal, cornered in an over-priced, underwhelming West End nightclub.

Tally ho.

Just tell the spoilt pratt that he can no longer play at Soldiers:rolleyes:

He should never have been in the army...Total waste of money...Same goes for big brother:rolleyes:
