Anyone seen this movie yet? I'm not sure whether to watch it tonight or not. The trailer to it look quite interesting, but then I've heard bad things about it on IMDB.

Saw the trailer for it ages, ages ago and it gave me chills! It was freaky!

Trailer looks great,but once I saw it was a certificate 15,I immediately soured on the idea of seeing it.
I seem to have it in my head that if a movie is from the thriller/horror genre and not an 18,then it's tame.

I heard mostly rubbish things about it. A friend who has seen it said the Vacancy thing, and also like Ils/Them...

Very much a case of Vacancy meets Halloween. Better than Vacancy though, could of been better. Probably a 7/10 horror.

It's not too bad.
I think what makes it more scary is that it's based on true events. When you see the film, it's hard to contemplate how on earth people could do that to other people, just because.
It's a good film, I didn't find it scary but I'd reckon it worth a watch =)

90 minutes of playing knock on the door and run away and shining torches at people. When the deaths finally came, they were boring, uneventful and welcomed.

There was no plot whatsoever, and the acting was ludicrously bad throughout - especially from Liv Tyler.

It's not scary or it's not based on true events?





It's most certainly not the best of the year but it's not that bad, I don't think, not compared to most of the 'horrors' that get dished out these days. However that's your opinion, of course.

It's just a generic slasher movie really, but a lot like Vacancy too. The characters do all the usual cliched stuff and there's nothing really original in there.

We have certainly been a bit starved of quality horror movies lately. I personally felt that this added to a long list of poor attempts - and for me, perhaps even headed it.

The best couple I've seen lately have been Rec and The Orphanage.

I thought it was a bit of a yawnfest.

Acting was horrible, scenarios were a bit unbelievable, conclusion sucked.

I can see why people will jump at some scenes, but don't expect much more.

It shared alot of simularities with one of the Manson killings actually, definately inspired by them. Even the masks were Mansonesque.

It wasn't too bad, it was very tense but the pace was quite slow. It would have made a good old black and white horror, as such.
